Last Saturday, the Teralba school community helped to raise over $4000 to donate to Kylie Morley Davies for the purchase of a prosthetic running leg.
Kylie decided earlier this year to amputate her leg after a life long battle with a spinal tumour. This decision was not one taken lightly and meant that Kylie might need to give up one of her passions of running.
But due to the overwhelming generosity shown by the local community and school her dream to run can be lived.
With many large and small companies donating prizes and money, as well as the time spent to organise the trivia night, we were able to raise over $4000.
A huge effort from such a small school. A huge thanks goes to everybody involved.
A list of donors will be published soon
