Catching public transport

Billy's Lookout Estate

Hunter Valley Buses provides a convenient morning and afternoon service to and from the Billy’s Lookout Estate. The route includes pick-up and drop-off points along Pitt Street, Fishermans Drive and Bowline Street, completing the loop through the estate.
The morning bus enters Billy’s Lookout from 8:35am, with the afternoon pick-up scheduled for a school pick up at 3:05pm. Our staff supervise students onto the bus each day at home time.

Driving and Parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times around our school. To help keep everyone safe, please:

Parking is available on York Street and William Street.
Pedestrian access is only through Gates 1, 3 and 4.

An RTA crossing guard supports students on York Street each morning and afternoon, with staff assisting students on William Street.

Parking on school grounds

Please note that there is no parking available on school grounds unless disability access is required. Families requiring accessible parking are asked to contact the school office to arrange for the William Street gates to be opened.

Walking and Riding

Walking or riding to school is a wonderful way for students to enjoy our beautiful local area. A NSW RTA Crossing Guard is stationed at the York Street crossing each morning and afternoon to help students arrive and leave safely. Staff also supervise students as they depart each afternoon.

Students who ride bikes or scooters must wear a helmet for their safety. Bike racks are available near the canteen for secure storage.
School gates open daily from 8:10am.

Outside of school hours care (OOSH)

Our school has an off-site outside of school hours care (OOSH) service. This service is provided at Booragul Public School and is run by Fair Play OOSH. Children are transported to and from Teralba Public school via a supervised bus provided. This service operates before and after school. OOSH also provide care during school holidays and school development days. This is known as vacation care.

At Fair Play OOSH, they focus on supporting each child's growth and wellbeing. They do this through fun programs that encourage curiosity and a love for learning.
