Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

It is my great privilege to welcome you to Teralba Public School, a caring and connected learning community situated on the beautiful north-western shore of Lake Macquarie. As Principal, I take immense pride in leading a school that reflects the values of its thriving local community, one that is inclusive, respectful, and focused on providing every child with the best possible start in life.

At Teralba Public School, we are committed to teaching and inspiring students to become creative, resilient, and resourceful learners, succeeding today while being confidently prepared for tomorrow. Our dedicated and highly skilled staff know each child as an individual, working together to provide a personalised and engaging education that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. We are proud of the rich learning experiences offered across academics, sport, and the creative arts, including dance, drama, and music.

I have had the honour of serving the Teralba community for more than 15 years and in that time, I have seen our school grow and evolve while maintaining its strong sense of belonging and connection. I take great joy in visiting classrooms, watching students grow in confidence and knowledge, and seeing their excitement as they take on new challenges. It is particularly rewarding to witness the success of our former students, many of whom continue to make a positive impact at high school and beyond.

Teralba Public School is more than just a place of learning, it is a welcoming community where children, families, and staff work together with pride and purpose. Our beautiful grounds, caring students, and vibrant partnerships with parents make this a truly special place. I warmly invite you to visit our school and see firsthand why we believe "Teralba Public School is a great place to be, the BEST place to learn."
